one very difficult thing to handle is the preconcieved notions about mother’s in law that daughter’s in law carry with them while coming to their new home. in such cases every action of the mother in law is looked upon with suspicion. i think it would be fair if the daughter in law would be smart and mature enough to be able to form an opinion of her in laws objectively. this isn’t too much to expect. is it?

I want your rpompt reply and neccessary action plan to proceed further.

My mother aged 55 was also kept in police station for one week. now she is very serious and hospitalised.
The girl laid 4 conditions out which of one shocking condition is she demanding 10 lakhs security deposit on her to withdraw the case
pls help my family to get rid of this money loot.

Don’t go for 10 Lakh security deposit. Please see the law 498a…
Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, is a criminal offense. It is a cognizable, non-bailable, and non-compoundable offense.
This means once 498a is filed even the girl should also not possible to withdraw. It is non-compoundable. Then how she can say go she can withdraw the case. She will get the 10lakh but the case will go on. You can check with a good lawyer.
Please do not give 10 Lakh even if the lawyer say also. The are all the part of the game.
What Sajan has mentioned is 100% right. Due to provisions of law the case cannot be withdrawn. Do not be sucked in the trap by paying money. If you weather the storm for 1 year, automatically the other party will know that you will not compromise on the money and they will get nothing substantial, by filing this false 498A case. Please visit websites of 498A.org or Save India Family Foundation website. Get the helpline number and call, Im sure some kind hearted sould will advice and morally support your family. You are not the only one, we are in thousands. DO NOT COMPROMISE BY GIVING MONEY, they are just trying to hoodwink you.
think SIFF, AIMPF are just thinking about themselves and their mothers, iam a wife and my inlaws have really ill treated , humiliated , have broken my marriage and are planning for my husbands remarriage thats the reason they want divorce from me. This is certainly injustice, Mother in laws are verymuch vampires and causes lot of problems in family & misunderstanding.
SIFF & AIMPF, I think you cannot see wifes living a peaceful, respectful & happy life. For you wives are servants, inlaws treat that way & then ask for divorce, as if wife is a toy just play and then throw.
You have come to wrong place. There is no place for wives here. Go and cry your rant in front of NCW. They want bitches like you who only want to exploit their in-laws and then blame them, the day they take a stand for themselves.
Do not forget, one day you will also become mother-in-law and your daughter-in-law will also think the same way about you. Learn to introspect yourself rather than just passing the buck to others. Its because of irresponsible women like you that men are suffering today.

I think it is wives like you in the younger generation that talks such rubbish because you want only rights but no responsibilities and duties people like you enter the in-laws home with hatred in your hearts how can anyone expect you to be understanding and adjustable as 4 u the whole world is bad but you are only good. remember mothers -in-law are the ones who have maintained the family 4 years and intolerant and abusive wives like u only come and break the husband’s family and then blame the in-laws Who are u to ban SIFF and AIMPF we have support not only national but worldwide even internationally people have given good credit to us.It is due to selfish wives like u that families are breaking in large numbers and then conveniently pass the blame on the in-laws . Could not your mother give some better lessons rather than pampering u and the in-laws have to suffer because of your perverse nature.we have cases where wives have beaten up their husbands and in-laws so better think twice before commenting on any NGOs.
