Marriage is not give and take of son or daughter. It is about starting a new family with blessings of elders.A girl brought up lovingly by her parents for nearly 25-30 yrs will never accept a new strange family as her own. Similarly a mother in law can never treat daughter in law like her own daughter. It will take years of understanding.Now there is no difference between daughter or son.
